A native of Galax, VA, Lisa has practiced dental hygiene in Roanoke since 1990. She loves spending time with her family, friends, and 4 legged children Thumper and Bentley. She also enjoys spending time at the beach, weightlifting, and fast cars.
A Roanoke native that graduated from VWCC dental hygiene program in 2014. Amy is married with a beautiful son. Enjoys camping, hiking, and any other outdoor activity with her family.

My name is Whitney. I have lived in the Roanoke area for two years. I am new to dentistry and love helping our patients achieve their perfect smile. In my free time I enjoy traveling back to my hometown to spend time with family.
I am Mary May and I am from Front Royal, Virginia; although, I have lived in Roanoke for 40 plus years. I call Roanoke my home. I joined Semtner Dental in 2013 and brought many years of dedicated dental experience. When I am not working, I enjoy time with my family, which includes two grand children and two pet cats named Molly and Tiger. On weekends, my husband and I enjoy traveling whenever possible.
I have been in the dental industry for 18 years and love meeting and interacting with the patients. Our office has a bunch of great people working together to make our patients dental experience a positive and memorable one. I am married to a wonderful man and have two sons. I love music, dancing, and spending as much time as possible with my family and friends.
I am Fay Yopp and I was born in Roanoke and have lived here all my life. I have been married 45 years, we have two daughters, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild. I have been in dentistry for over 30 years as a dental assistant and now work as the manager of the Hershberger location.

Hello, I’m Marcella. I’ve been in Roanoke for about 6 years. I began my dental career while serving in the US Army. When I am not assisting you to achieve your perfect smiles, I can be found reading a book or spreading Autism Awareness. I look forward to meeting you!
I graduated Dental Hygiene School from the University of Pittsburgh in 2004. As part of my education, I am also licensed to administer local anesthesia. I have been with the team since 2011. Working at Semtner Dental is wonderful and I enjoy getting to know all the patients and educating everyone about dental health.
I currently reside in Roanoke, VA with my husband Dan and our two small children, Alexandra and Noah. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, boating, and traveling to Pittsburgh. I also have a great passion for teaching group exercise classes at the YMCA!
Ellen is a graduate of the Virginia Western Community College Dental Assistant program. She has been with the team since 1987. Ellen is Dr. Rob and Dr. Mona’s chair side assistant along with the front desk, lab duties, sterilizing instruments, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. In her time off, she enjoys cooking, being with friends, and spending time with her 3 dogs.
Graduated VWCC in 1999 and has been practicing since 2003. She has been with Semtner Dental since 2005. Sarah loves spending time with her husband, children, and dog. Her hobbies include boating and water sports on Smith Mountain Lake and traveling. Sarah enjoys working with others and helping them keep a healthy smile!
My name is Sandy and I am a certified Dental Assistant. I went to school at VWCC for their Dental Assisting Program. I have worked in Dentistry for 39 years. Working with children that are afraid is my passion, because I was one. I am married to Stephen and we have 3 daughters and 3 grandsons that are my love. I also love to garden in my spare time.
I started my dental career as a dental assistant (14 years) after attending Old Dominion University in Norfolk,Virginia. From there, I assumed the responsibilities of Office Manager, which allows me to share my love of dentistry and what it can do to improve the quality of a person’s life. I truly enjoy interacting with patients and helping them understand their treatment.When I am not working, I enjoy traveling to Guam to see my daughter, son-in-law and 4 grandchildren. I also enjoy spending time with my husband at home or in the mountains of East Tennessee.
I started as a dental assistant in 1989. I really enjoyed getting to know my patients and working chair-side. I joined the Semtner Dental team in 2012 and bring 23 years of Dental experience to the team. I now enjoy being one of the front desk staff and working with insurance and patience coordinating. When I am not working, I enjoy watching my husband Chance play softball and my daughter Madison dance at our family owned dance studio, Studio 45. I am also an avid sports fan of UVA, the Atlanta Braves, and the Washington Redskins.
